How would you compare them?

Are they sort of a same type of knife: a sturdy, super strong, great cutter, MBC rated, i. e. are they alternatives, or

Is a Manix80mm in some aspect essentially different?

I own the Manix and Lil'T. A question is do I really need a Manix80mm (apart from the fact that one needs all Spydies)?

Personally, I think their both very similar. Each has it's own quirks.

Both have full flat blades, leaf shaped(or close to leaf shaped) both a built like rocks, and lock up like vaults. Similar blade lengths as well.

The Lil Temp seems more comfortable in the hand(at least to me), but has the pocket eater clip, while the clip on Manix 80mm is more pocket friendly.

The biggest difference is the lock, and the lack of ambidexterity(is that even a word) on the Lil Temp, and the choil on the Manix 80mm

Both are great knives, it just depends on which lock you prefer, in my opinion.

I don't think you *need* the Manix80mm, if you have the full size Manix & Lil'T.

Hell, I don't think you *need* much of anything in terms of performance from a folder after those two.

But get the Lil'Manix anyway. :)

A "Battle of the Titans "?:D It is a hard choice between these two work horses. The Lil Temp is a bit shorter, and I've heard from many that it has better ergos. I don't have either, so I can't really help you with your decision, but if it were me I would have both. I'd go for that Manix 80mm! You never know, you may like it better:)

I own the Lil Temp, Manix, 80mm Manix. Of the three, I like the 80mm best. The blade length and shape suit me better, the handle also. (I just hate the clip on the Lil Temp)

However, if you have the Manix and the Lil Temp you really don't need the third. But I am weak, what can I say.

Someone had a link that showed the difference between the Lil'T and the 80'
and it looked like the Mini Manix was perfect to me! I liked the Manix, but it was a little too big, and I liked the Lil' temp, but I hated that it had no choil, and no thumb serrations. If I am not mistaken, the Mini manix really is just like a bigger
Lil' temp with a choil, and thumb serrations.

I have the Manix, Mini-Manix, and the Lil'T. I like all of them, but the Mini-Manix is my favorite.

Judging by the photos, it looks like the actual cutting edge of the Temp blade is about the same length as that of the Mini-Manix.

Hi Franco G. pjrocco has given you some good pictures so I won't post any more. I have both of the knives you are asking about. I picked up the 80mm Manix first. There was so much talk about the Lil' Temp, I just had to get one of those also. I have been EDCing it for a few weeks now. It is a great knife! I really like the 80mm Mainix as well. The LT is all blade, and it's handle is a bit shorter also. For me, it carries just a bit better. It is probably just a bit lighter also. You cannot/will not go wrong with either one of these. I will add that the Lil' Temp is getting harder to find though so if you want one of these, you may need to get on it. I got mine from New Graham Knives and at the time they still had at least 2. No idea now.

Could some kind soul please post pictures of the lil' temp and lil' manix, closed? I'm interested in the in-pocket profiles of each. Thanks in advance!

Here you go.
