Snatched this up the other day...light weight, handles great, amazing handle carving! Excellent grab, thanks Uncle and Yangdu and Sher for the wonderful creation, I'm ready for more H.I swords! I guess 1 pic is good enough for you guys
That is one impressive sword, sweet! Please describe it a bit (weight, balance, "liveliness in hand", distal taper, etc. Where are these hidden on H.I.'s website?
Really unique mix of styles. Pompeiian gladius meets Nepal... like the guard. It's much prettier than the DoD pic showed. Congrats... A Sweet Snag. :footinmou
Oh baby, good gravy! I love the way that sword looks. I couldn't buy one though. If i do I'm pretty sure my HI kat Whispering Dragons would take my thumb off at the joint if I brought that beauty home. It's still mad at me for dropping it and gouging a chunk out of the handle. A very loyal, but scornful blade
I love that sword's fullers though. Beautiful. I would like it if the tang went all the way through though. Just because it makes me feel better. Great snag though, sweet. If another pops up, then I might weight the value of my thumb
Thanks for rubbing it in Sweet! "Snatched" is right. I'm still so pissed about missing this one by minutes I could spit. And I knew something special was coming! G*&%ned e-mail...
Glad you got it though, seriously, if I didn't. Only thing that would have been worse is if someone just by for the day grabbed it and didn't really understand or appreciate it!
