Mann Jersey Head Handled - Picture Heavy

The head was rough. Some of the pitting is just too deep to actually sand it down to remove it. So I got off the surface rust for the most part, and decided to leave it at that. Handle is a 32".

I got the head to pop on 1/2 the way with ease. I thought I had removed enough on the sides to take the lugs. Got down to the point of no return, and she seemed to stop. Had to really spend some time driving it the rest of the way. I will say one thing, this head will never slide...ever.

Wedge went in real tight! Also took some time to get to settle.

Going through the grits on the handle. Handle came with damn hard varnish on it.

nice job! the head is in pretty bad shape, but you made 'her' look nice...

Yeah it was an internal debate on if it was worth it to haft it. However it doesn't look pretty, it has plenty of actual functional life left in it. So why not I guess.
