How is the blade holding up? The finish, that is. Is it very difficult to keep it clear, or should I force a patina?

The finish on my mantra is holding up just fine. I don't carry it exclusively and wipe it down with corrosionX occasionally. I also live in upstate NY not Louisiana so ymmv. I did see a cool patina done using mustard in a thread somewhere.

I'm just using mine while showing no special attention to the blade. I haven't seen any rust, just normal patina. I take the M2 on the road with me so it's seen different climates and weather almost daily since I got it.

Had mine for about a month now. Little bit of discoloration on the base of the blade became evident a few days ago- not sure if it was from oils or cutting up so much fruit.
