I eventually had stop using credit cards for knives altogether. It was too much temptation.

I can see that. I was able to open the Mnandi I had with my thumb.

Thanks for the video. I actually have done this type opening for quite a while on some knives when i don't want to flip or use a thumbstud. It works well on a Benchmade 940 right behind the thumbstud, especially getting the blade started, for example.
