I received my two copies (one for my truck, one for my Ruck) of "Six Ways in & 12 Ways Out " from U.S R-SOG, I will spend alot of time with this Manual, If you don't have one, pick one up.

When I was a boy my Grand Father, on my Mothers side was a true Survivor, I would go over to his house and he would come walking up with a box trap and always a Rabbit inside. He would break its neck then clean it for supper. Well guess what that trap is in this Manual. It is called the Brasher Box Trap, and it is exactly like my Grand Father made. So I know these guys know what they are talking about.

I need to take it out and practice some of these skills, nothing can replace field time, I need more field time for sure.

It really is a great manual and you're right. The size is perfect for the pack and I took it on our last backpacking trip. We made the chair; I know Bryan Breeden did a great pictoral of making that chair from the same book a while back. A lot of practical thought went into it. I'm going to order a couple more copies and keep one for my son's Christmas stocking...
