Just a shoutout to my buddy Duncan for a very generous gift of a Bob Cargill Cripple Creek split spring whittler. Duncan knows how much I appreciate Bobs knives, I have a hard time putting into words how much this means. Thanks again buddy and it really did not take that long to go halfway around the world.

What a nice gift!! I've seen many of Bob's knives, but never a split-spring!!
Legendary!! 😁

all these comments prove that I have you all fooled hahahahaaa ( demonic laugh)😆

I have owed Augie for a long time - I robbed him of a Crucible Scout, so this was a payback.

Although Augie has been seen many a times using his Elbows in the jostle within the Queue at the GEC store, I forgive him for my bruised Ribs- Paul Hilborn knocking me out from a punch from behind is the one I have trouble with forgiveness. 🤣

I always thought it weird the heavy in-depth stamping of the Chicago Knife Show on the Bone - but as I grew more into knives I realised that this is pretty darned neat as it certainly defines the era of the knife - and within the Cargill grouping of Knives - Augie has shown us some spectacular examples - and most typical of Augie - is serious in his collecting of the Bob Cargill knives.

So basically this is a thank you to you Augie, isn’t it weird - I always refer to John as Augie in the Traditionals 🤔
Have a great day folks.
