Hey, guys. It's been a long time since I've posted not just here, but on Bladeforums in general. Full time work, full time grad school, a loving wife who deserves attention and two awesome kids will really suck the life out of your hobbies sometimes. While I plan to get back into the swing of things soon enough (done with school in May) I've realized that it just isn't fair slacking on my duties of Becker Cartographer as the list of beckerheads grows and grows.
For those of you who don't know, a while back we started asking those who wanted their location be known to all to submit their city name or zip code to be added to a Google Map that was available to all to see for fun, pass around planning purposes, or whatever else your twisted minds could think of. Since I can't really commit to the task anymore (not that it is hard or anything) I've decided to pass the duties onto whoever might be ready, willing or able to do it.
If one of the mods likes, they can take on the duty themselves, or assign it to whomever they think fit that wants to do it, should several people speak up, or I will pick someone myself. I will send you the necessary .kmz file along with the steps I was using to upload and maintain it. As of now, there is still an unresolved issue the map was having with not displaying our Canadian brothers and sisters. Perhaps you will want to fix it, start over, or simply remove it so that you can upload something else of your own creation.
