maple leaf small sebenza ?

hi all,
I found a small sebenza canadian maple leaf graphic and bought it its great...... but confused with the born on date. the card says born on date march 28 2000. but inside the handle it reads B98. and the clip is the old style and the handle seems to be the old new style. should their be a little piece to put in the clip after I take the clip off to take the place of the space their.

is this knife with the bg42 steel or ats 34
I bought it from a dealer
I think I might have got a wrong card with this knife.

Hi Shawn, welcome to the forums.
I can answer part of your questions. The filler which goes in the handle, to cover the indentation for the clip is an option. You can order one from Chris Reeve. Cost $20 last time I checked.
Disregard the B98 inside the handle, that is an inhouse production code. Your born on date is probably correct.
You have a great knife, and it sounds like you are pleased with it.
