I like countycomm.com and I have placed an order from them coming to me some time next week. But I have seen the Maratac gear on their site of most interest to me is the bail out bag series and was wondering if they have a good reputation with you gentlemen I do mostly see Maxpedition stuff around here but want to know if there are any Maratac users around. I would like to get the bail out bag at some point and they seem to use good materials and good design.

I have both the BOB and the XL BOB. I have used the BOB a lot for walks in the woods and as a general purpose gear bag in Spring and Summer. The XL BOB is my current gear bag, because it can carry much more in this less clement weather. It is also good for light shopping and can take a couple of plastic bags of groceries along with the usual books, extra sweater, etc. They are very durable although not as overbuilt as Maxpedition. I find all County Comm Maratac nylon to be reliable.

I had a BOB and swapped for an XL. Bot h are really excellent quality for the $$, I thought the regular size was maybe a smidgen more sturdy-feeling but the XL is a more useful size for me. You will not be disappointed with the quality of either, and for far less $$ and weight than a maxped bag. Not knocking Maxpedition at all, I have a lot of their stuff.

Good I was thinking that they where good quality so I am going to get one the XL bags at some point.

I use the BOB for daily work stuff, as well as when I travel by air. Very handy and mine is about 6+ years along and still looks good.
