Marathon watches

was at the gunshow sat and ran into an old bud and he is selling marathon watches now, i looked at several, supposedly navy seals/divers wear them now, he had some with plastic bands, some with metal bands, must say i was impressed, really a rugged looking well made and finished watch, the one i was interested in was about $600 or so, anyone have any experience with marathon, am thinking about getting one to wear for times when the rolex is too nice, prices, links, any info welcome.

Don't know anything about Seals, but these watches are Canadian Military Spec made in Switzerland issued to our(Canadian) SARtechs and from what I understand, NASA got on board and is issueing them to their divers as well. I am looking forward to owning one in the near future, but they are pretty hard to get to Canada, something that makes no sense to me seeing that they were originally intended for Canadian soldiers. Oh well...
 
well, they sure are nicer than a g shock lol, i dont care who wears them/who doesnt if i get one they can say i wear one lol.

nice watches though imho, one of the best looking watches in that price range i have seen in a while.
 
Yep, I think they are really good looking as well. All business and they look like they're meant to be used without worries of them breaking.
