What is the purpose of the sub-hilt….I honestly don’t know. Is it to protect your hand from slipping by keeping finger in place?ya talkin the sub hilt? I'm okay with that. kinda like it.
id like to see it come back with metal guards instead of the rubber plastic. that would be pricier though.
for the wood and metal guard, i expect a big price increase would happen....might not be so interesting to me anymore if the price point is what I think it would be.
strong grip and more blade control basically. it works well as in fighting knife uses...outside of that its not really all that useful. I dont mind it though. What is the purpose of the sub-hilt….I honestly don’t know. Is it to protect your hand from slipping by keeping finger in place?

Or a downsized Natchez with all dimensions of the original but with a Marauder blade length of 9".
Another inexpensive alternative to the current rubber guard and sub hilt would be to use polypropylene like that on the guard and pommel of the Tanto Lite!Metal guard (rubber is fine for the subhilt) and AUS10a, and keep it cheap (although obviously a bit more than the current one). Thank you.
