marble fixed blade approx date of mfg.

hi everyone, just joined yourforum,i have aquired a 5"double gaurd stacked handle marble , blood grooves 3/16"thick blade,just straight clip blade.the butt cap is the mystery to me. it is dull in finish like old lead little rubbing with 4 O steel wool didnt change or brighten[as all others i have seen], blaade also has an oldgrey patina. could this be from the ww2 era?any help would be greatly appreciated. Alsomight get my grandaughter to put pic. if it will help. many thanks
