Hi folks new to this thread own lots of modern folders n just a couple slipjoints .Want to get a new one looking at a case trapperlock little expensive for everyday use . Also saw some good looking marble knives lot cheaper . Any advise havent bought this type of blade in a long time looking for somthing for edc carry . Thanks for your help .

The affordable Marble's traditional folders are imported from China, but are very good quality. I have a couple- one with a folding guard and clip point blade, and a second that is an elephants toe. Both wear green bone scales. They look very good and have great fit and finish. They look and function great- and not just for the price. Out of the box, the edges were shaving sharp~ something I don't normally even consider....I only require a 'working edge'- but sure enough they easily left some bald pached on my arms.

They came with individual soft cases for storage. Sort of cheesy but a nice touch. The only complaint I have is that I wish the large blade on the elephants toe had more snap/ heavier backspring. It is functional, no worse than my Buck stockman. The backspring on small blade is perfect....

Definetely worth buying:)

As long as you're considering a Marbles, you may as well look at the Rough Riders. Lots of patterns to choose from and don't come much cheaper. Built pretty well for EDC.
