Quick question,

Was reading a review of the Yo 2 and said you can easilly do multiple openings?

One od which called the "Marble Shooter"

Is this something new? or is the the same as the middle finger flick like I think it is?

If not I'd like to learn it.

Marble shooting is done with the thumb so that might be what is meant here. I can flick my Tenacious open that way easier than I can with my middle finger.

It uses the tip of your thumb. Put just the tip of your thumb nail in the spyder hole (need to word that carefully) and flick your thumb straight out, in line with the knife handle, not away from handle (perpendicular). To shoot a marble you also dig your thumb tip into your index finger so you can put pressure on your thumb and then release to get a better flick. You can do similar by putting ring finger and/or pinky on the tip of the blade and applying pressure with thumb. Then release the blade and flick which will give a harder flick. Its good to also learn how to hold onto the handle or clip with the tip of your fingers so you don't throw the knife out of your grip. Also depends on the knife how easy this is. The Para 2 works pretty good. Also works good on a lot of thumb stud knives.

Thanks very much. Learned something new.

Were you able to follow all that? Get it to work? That is just about the only way I open my knives and I can flick open just about any tip up knife, no matter how stiff the blade is and without wrist motion. I have explained it a few times but never know if the words are a good enough description. I'm sure a video would be much easier to follow. Maybe I will make one some day and put this fancy phone with HD video to some use. That or my GoPro that I haven't really used, though with my new mount I plan on some Airboat trail riding. Everyone should ride a good lightweight airboat at least once in their life. But I digress.
