I am hoping that the axe Guru's can help me. I have managed to aquire a beautiful Marble's Camp axe head. Dimensions are about 7" x 3.5". This axe head doesnt even appear to have been touched with a file. I have looked online and can not find much info on it.
I would like to put a new handle on it but was wondering what legnth would be appropriate. I am thinking something around 26"-28" Input please...
Does anybody know of this double bit axe? What was the helve legnth when it was made? What would you recommend as a legnth based on your experience? C'mon gents give me your input.
