Marbles cowboy knife

Sorry no direct experience, but also have a look at the Northwoods Cowboy knife. Very good looking blade as well!

ive had one for about a year, cutting a lot of rope and it gets very shaving sharp.love that bone handle, good knife.

I'm bumping this, because it came up in one of my Google searches (archived).

Some info for anyone else who may run into this thread in the future:

I actually picked this knife up about a year after my initial post, and I'm glad I did. Steel takes an edge well, and it cuts like you expect from a quality knife. More specifically - I was worried I wouldn't get a good grip on the handle, because it is slick bone; that is not an issue because of the size and profile of the handle.

Important to note, even though the sheath does have a belt stud, it is not practical to ware tucked into your belt, because the blade is so short and the handle material so dense that it is very handle heavy. It tips and moves around too easily. I didn't like how tightly the belt loop carries the knife to your side either, so I ended up rigging a lanyard for it so I can ware it like a large neck knife, or slung under my shoulder. It would benefit highly from a leather craft kit sheath.

I see Marbles is now closed up, but the knives may come up for sale on forums, or at second hand shops / flea markets. Worth owning.
