Marbles DeWeese - SHARP!

I've always liked the old Marbles DeWeese but could never afford an original -they were made in early 1900. Recently, I acquired one of the modern ones made in 1999 by Marbles when Mike Stewart was in charge. Wow! I'm a good knife sharpener, but this is the sharpest knife I've ever used! I'm almost reluctant to use it, because I don't think I can ever get that level of sharpness again. Great little knife...anyone out there have one of these?

BTW, I suggest you avoid the Chinese made Marbles DeWeese that were being marketed a couple of years ago...I bought one and sold it off immediately.

I don't have any Marbles "yet". However I do have three Barkies from Mike. I was "VERY" impressed with the edges. Such beautifull knives and so sharp I also was reluctant to use them. That didn't last long. I use them all very much. Once I read up on how to sharpen a convex edge I learned it is so easy to maintain. Like Judy said, "Use it like you stole it!"
