While lookin at one of the online stores, I noticed a Marbles MSA Linerlock..
Sweet lookin knife. A few different scale options but the Stag really caught my eye... D2 blade and 3 3/4 inches. I really like that size for pocket carryin.
Anyone have one, or know someone that has personal experience with this model? Like to hear some thoughts on overall quality, especially the linerlock. Like so many other knives, are these made by Queen? I don't feel like I have to have a liner lock ,but I really like the look of the knife.

Its really hard not to pull the trigger on this, but at a buck seventy I want to find out a little about them first....

I keep tellin myself I'm slowin down on the knife purchases :D

Dave Shirley up at the Northwoods Knives Store leased the rights to use the Marbles name from 2000-2005. He produced a variety of different slip joints with different handles and had to pay a royalty fee of $30.00 each knife to Marbles. They were stamped M.S.A. Marbles, Gladstone, Michigan, on the tang. The M.S.A., stood for Marbles Safety Axe. Very high quality knives and are sought after by collectors since Marbles is now global and made in China. The Marble folders that Dave had were assembled by Queen Cutlery and had AIRDI-150 (Crucible D2) steel blades.

In my opinion a very collectable high quality knife made in low numbers...

As to the linerlock--they lock up solidly and are top notch. They are made by Queen (as sunburst said) with the Schatt Morgan finish on the knife. A good choice.

Thanks for the input , I think I'm going to have to score one of these...

Damn, now that I look at the pics more, I'm not sure which one to get.. The Red Stag is sweet too...

Derrick, I think you know where I found them at :D
