I recently ran across the Marbles "Sportsman" knives, in their "Old Production" line. (These.) A search didn't turn up anything, so I'll ask: Does anyone here have any experience with them? Full tang? Is that "injection molded Krayton handle" hard or pliable? They look pretty good for really cheap knives. I'm looking at one as a fishing/fillet knife.

I find it interesting that they're not available at any of the other online knife shops I've visited.

It's also sort of odd that www.marbles.com is owned by the "Bowie Corporation", but in these days of business I guess anything's possible.

I've had several through the shop and the Kraton handle is soft and sticks to your hand.( alittle small for guys with large hands) It should be nice when you get blood or fish gurry on the handle though. The blade is stiffer than most filet knives and the steel is 440C rather than the 52100. It comes with a nice leather sheath(IMO I think a fish knife should have a Kydex sheath). VERY sharp.:D
