I recently was given a 1990's vintage Marble's Trailmaker Bowie unused and still in the box it came in. I want to know whatever people can tell me about it including it's value. Is it something worth hanging on to or should I sell it? Will it increase in value as time goes by?

Check eBay. But it sounds like a prize. I saw a much-used Woodsman in an antique shop in Arizona, and they were asking $300...

I saw one just like it on ebay with a buy it now price of 499.99 but I don't trust it. I would prefer to hear from other knife makers and collectors about it's true value

It is against the rules of this forum to post asking about values of knives unless you're a paid member, sorry man.

Post some pics. There is a tutorial on how to post pictures at the top of the forum in the "stickies".

As others have said, as a non paying member, values are a no no.

But you already have a method for that, as indicated by the ebay quote.

Basically look how many have sold. Try to find the same model. Throw out the high and low prices. Some where in the middle, if you can find more like it in the same condition.

It I got it, I would keep it.

But I like that style knife, and it would round out my large users nicely!
