Does anyone have any information on the marbles wharncliff whittlers? I can't find much information on them. Thanks.

I have one that is stag scales, carbon steel and great fit and finish. Great little knife, but it was pricey.

I'd heard that all the current production Marbles slipjoint folders are made overseas - does anyone know if that's correct? If so, what's the quality of the current slipjoints?

I believe that you are correct, but that Marbles MSA is made in the USA. Check out the Marbles forum in knifeforums, I believe there is a sticky thread on this subject.

Hi MG.

I was at SMKW's this past saturday and almost bought a Marble's® Whittler with Brown Jigged Bone Handle
MR110.
I had stopped in earlier and got a catalog like I always do so I could do some pre brousing.
The price on the whittler and the large trapper was lower than I would have expected.
Well after I went to the store and looked at both of them,I saw why.
They were made in china.the fit and finish looked good though. The warenclif whittler is about 40.00 more than the whittler so I it's probely made in the USA. Hope this helps.
ede.

Made by of Queen's divisions, identical to a Schatt and Morgan of fairly recent release...
