March 1st 2005. Jessica Update.

Just got a call from Stella and she is taking Jessica home this afternoon, against the Dr's better judgement, but not much else left too do.
Jessica's mental state is deteriorating and she is now becoming combatant with Stella.
I can't blame her for that, hell almost 30 days in the hospital would drive me up a wall and especially if I wasn't getting better, at least outwardly!:grumpy:
Jessica will still remain on intravenous feeding because she still can't hold anything on her stomach, not even a pill.
Jessica is still throwing up several times a day whether she has anything on her stomach or not.
They will have a home health care nurse come in every day to monitor Jessica's condition.
The good news is that the fevers have abated and one abcess has cleared up. The packing was removed from another today so it's still not known how it will respond until some time has passed.
The other abcess is still there and still being treated.
Everyone is hoping that once home and in familar surroundings that Jessica will start improving at a better rate.
All in all it is still just wait and see. Still not a bad birthday present, not bad at all.
