I discussed this with John, who was gracious enough to allow me to host a giveaway in his sub-forum.

It's no secret that I am a fan of his knives, owning several already. I was thinking about some way to possibly reward John's customers for their patronage of the great knives he makes, and thought I could sweeten the pot a little.

Everyone that places an order for the month of March will have their names put in for a drawing. I am a knife modder, and while I don't consider myself an expert, I believe my work is pretty good. The winner of the drawing will, (after their JK order is paid for and delivered) have the choice of me working on a knife of their own, or one that I may have on hand. The knife is only limited by my skills at the present time. Material may be limited to what I have on hand, but I will cover shipping to the winner. My specialty is TL-29 mods.

If you order more than one product from John for March, you will get a chance for each item ordered.

This isn't about me, it's about bringing attention to the fine knives that John produces. I just hope that this adds a little extra something to an already outstanding value. (BTW, I may ask to have more than one winner selected.)

Note: This sub-forum is John's sandbox, he allows us to play here, so he has the final say on the specifics of this giveaway. If he needs to make any changes, that is his right and privilege. I will leave it up to him to decide how the winner is chosen, maybe Hanna can help out!

Also, feel free to post in this thread if you wish regarding your March order or any other related JK content!

I won't be able to participate,but wanted to say that's very good of you Glenn,you do great work & someone will be getting a great knife to go with their new JK I'm sure.

I'll throw this up as another testament to your skills.
For those that don't know..Glenn made the bolsters,liners & the lock lever besides putting the bone covers on this old thing I found in an antique store.

'Ol Glenn has a knack for bringing new life to old knives.

This is a good incentive to go ahead and put an order in. So, I'll take advantage of it, been thinking of ordering a bird and trout/paring knife like John posted back in Nov.

I emailed Glen awhile back and asked about a rehandle on a Winchester 2991 I have with celluloid handles. Been meaning to follow up with it, but just haven't got around to it with everything else that's going on. So, if I was to win I've already got the knife picked out, but those TL-25 sure do look incredible though.
 
I can't wait to find out who my victims...er, the winner(s) will be. The suspense will be building all month!
