March Special Of The Month?

Well the February special was a total flop! I`m thinking about what to offer for March. The Bushcrafter is not an option, I will probably do that after the passaround is finished, although I am seriously considering dropping it from my line, too many makers offering these. Not the Kephart either, too many of those already out there. What should it be?

Good question. The new APCK might be a good choice, although at the price point it's already at I would think you couldn't cut the price too much and still make it worth your time/supplies.

If you want to run a special that people will buy, perhaps put up a poll and let whatever wins be the special, also cross promotion on WSS would probably help some people discover you and get a great deal on a greater knife.

I doubt I will be able to swing another knife next month, so my input isn't all that valuable to you, but I think one of your larger knives would be a good choice (scout Jr, Hiker, APCK).

That might be seen as "advertising" so I don`t want any part of that. From some PM`s I`ve gotten from friends, there is some serious badmouthing of me and my knives going on with some members who hang out there.

Well I won't stand for that if I hear about it. I have used my Kephart and Field knife a LOT, not to mention the passaround I was in for the little ones last year, the EWOK that RR lent me, and the upcoming bushie. Your knives are excellent. Don't listen to the detracters; let them strut their peacock feathers-it's all flash.

Unless he's talking about the busse guy flameout in which it was claimed that one of John's knives broke while he "was cutting shooting sticks", I'm suprised to hear this. I haven't seen or heard any badmouthing of john's knives either. I thought they were held in pretty high regard, and I think they are excellent.

+1 for the EWOK. I would also like to see a Hiker's Backup with thin orange handles and a neck sheath. $$ are tight here right now but I can still sneak in a new blade every now and then.

I'm surprised as well. With the number of W&SS forumites that use his knives, I'm amazed that anyone has something bad to say.

The hiker's backup is the current special, (in the past) John has mentioned that he can do orange scales for a little extra and they come with a pocket/neck sheath.

John I don't always get to read every post but I can honestly say I have never heard anyone calling you or your work. What can they possibly say negative about your knives, I'm not saying this to brown nose but would genuinely like to know?
