Having just received my first custom knife ever, I just had to post a picture of the detail in one of my Marfione Distressed Apacolyptic Titanium Starlords, specifically the imprinting on the clip:

Shot with an old Nikon P6000, handheld, lit with a high-CRI McGimzo Ti Sundrop-3S, and color-balanced with Nikon CaptureNX2 on a Pantone-calibrated monitor, using the keyboard in the pic to set white and black levels. Sorry about the blooming - that's what happens with a quick pic and a flashlight for illumination.
Besides the sparkling color detail within the imprinting, check out the finish on the tri-wing hardware. With my Mark I eyes, the tri-wings just look they have a satin/matte finish but darned if they don't have a nice surface.
It's amazing what this brute of a folder is hiding in the details.
Does anyone know how they create the color effect? Something embedded maybe? I know that heat and electrolysis can color titanium, but I've never seen a sparkle effect on it before. Maybe passing a current through the clip using a small diameter wire?
