African ebony wood handle. Sheath and accessories are trimmed with elephant hide that I got from a boot maker back in the 80s.

Thanks for the compliments! The sheath is also suede lined. All this for a $20 knife. :D
 
Thanks Mike. It's a shame these Marjacq knives are not made anymore. There are a few still around, but not many. The finish on the ebony handle is as nice as it gets.

I bought one exactly like yours and a horn handled one two years ago in a cooking supply store. They had them on a counter display.

The ebony handled one has been on my desk at work ever since and I use it for food only.

I use mine as a steak knife. :)

They really are very nice knives for the money. I guess that's why I felt it deserved a nice sheath.
