I know this should probably go on Good, Bad and the Ugly! but what Mark just did for me is SOOoooo far beyond GOOD, I hope this can stay here.
A couple of weeks a go I saw a post for BM's Mel Pardue 330-pearls with serrated edges at a great price on the Dealers Forum. I wanted to get a nice knife for my wife's birthday but I didn't want a serrated knife. So, I e-mailed Mark, to see if he had a plain edge?
He didn't, but thought he could get one. It turned out to be harder to get than expected, but he kept on looking. I felt as long as Mark was looking it wasn't right for me to look anywhere else. Saturday, he must have found one at a show, he e-mails me that night to say he's got one. I told him I would mail him a check first thing Monday morning, which I did. I just get an e-mail my knife is on the way. I was hoping he would send it out after he received my check, but before it cleared his bank. Who would expect him to ship before my check got there?
I want to support BF's, I love James Mattis, and the other Dealers here are GREAT! Mark, has to be my first choice for all my future knife purchases. He's not going to get rich from me, I'm sorry to say. I don't think Mark does what he does for money, he does it because that's who he is.
Thanks isn't enough, adding my name to his list of satisfied customers at G,B, & U, didn't do it either. Please pardon my fawning and if you haven't dealt with Mark, give him a call.
