Whats the differences between the Mark I and II?? I read the specs but which one is really better??

Pros and cons of each??

I am asking because i am trying to decide which one to get and the feedback a get from those of you who have experience with them and can please give me insight will be the determining factor.

Thanks to all in advance,

Do you mean the MOD CQD Mark I and Mark II?

The Mark I is much larger, has a glass breaker at the front, requiring the blade to be closed to use it, and a seat belt cutter at the butt. Blade 3.75", handle 5.75".

The original CQD was not designated Mark anything, but was otherwise identical with the Mark I except it has no glass breaker.

The Mark II is the smaller model, with a glass breaker at the butt and no seat belt cutter. Blade 3.25", handle 4.5".

They are all as close to indestructible as any folder can be. The larger models are very large indeed and can be a bit clumsy to carry and use for someone with small hands. I find the Mark II a perfect carry knife, but at 1/4" less handle, it would be too small for me.

Depends on what you want them for.

The large model is absolutely huge. I have large hands and found it too big. Good quality, just large.

Decide if you want the cutter and breaker enough to deal with the sheer bulk of the Mark I. Since it is too bulky to have in a pocket you will have to IWB or bag carry it. Also when looking at it look at the width more than the length since the bulk of the thing is something you can only really appreciate when you are holding it.
