"Mark this forum read"

I thought this was a fluke, but it appears to be repeatable.

Clicking on

Forum Tools --> Mark This Forum Read

...kicks me up to the top of the forum section (i.e., "Manufacturers" if I'm in the Spyderco sub-forum; "Exchange" if I'm in any of the for-sale sub-forums, etc.).

Can anyone verify this behavior?

It used to do that for me when using Safari, now I use Firefox and it doesn't happen anymore.

Hmmm. It does it to me with Firefox on Linux, and IE on Windows.

It didn't used to do this; this just started recently.

Oddly enough, it has just now started doing this to me as well with Firefox.

It has stopped doing it, at least for me .

Working fine for me now. I dunno. Weird. Maybe all the stuff last Friday fixed it.
