Blade Marking Identification Assistance
I have owned numerous Benchmade knives over the years, old and new in different models and coatings all with varying steel identification marks on the blade. (ie. S30V, S90V, M390, D2, etc.)
However, I have never owned or handled a Benchmade knife with the mark seen below the steel identification mark as seen in the attached photo, and wondered if anyone could put this wondering to rest.
I suspect it’s indicative of a “replacement blade” installed by Benchmade.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
