Market for Sebenza Blades?

So, I recently got my small Classic Sebenza back from CRK with it's brand new polished blade and it looks awesome (pics coming soon). Of course while it was there getting fitted for its new blade I went ahead and had them clean and sharpen the original, factory, stone-washed blade, and had that returned to me as well. So, now I have one knife and two blades. I love the new polished blade so much that I have yet, after a month, to even remove the original blade from is return shipping packaging. I'm wondering if I should put it on eBay or something like that, or if that is just a waste of time and auction posting fees. Is there even a market out there for a small Classic Sebenza, stock, stone-washed blade, or should I just keep it as a spare, although I doubt I would ever use it for anything. Any thoughts?

Go gold here and post it. Somebody will buy it for the "right" price.

Gold has it's "other" perks also.. ;)

Im not sure if the blade will fit another Seb. properly ?
I know the tolerances are super low on CRKs but locks still need to be individually fitted.

Id keep it as a spare or do some custom mods to it or something.

You could sell it if you want, but whoever buys it may have to send it in for a fit-up. The blades are not 100% interchangeable.

I've had a lot of Sebs in my possession over the years, both large and small.

Just for my own piece of mind, I took an afternoon swapping out different blades on different handles. I was amazed on how similar the fits were! To me, that is a testament on how tight the Reeve company is with their tolerances.

Do you need the extra cash from selling the 2nd blade? If not, if you ever have the opportunity to pick up a second small Sebenza, let's say for example, one with a tanto blade, you could periodically swap it out.

Personally, I would love to have one handle set with at least two different blades:) Oh wait, I do already:D

I think the only problem would be how much percentage of locking would be. Even if it goes beyond 85%, it would still be fine, I would imagine. I have also tried different blades on one handle and they were all okay. You really only need one blade for a sebenza. If you really want to sell it, give the buyer a chance to return it if it does not work on his sebbie, that's all!

Yes, there is a chance that the blade swap would work, but a VERY good chance that it would not be optimal. If it's not optimal to the side of less engagement, the new owner of the blade would potentially put in peril. For this reason, I would strongly encourage you to not put your extra blade up for sale.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this. I thinkafter reading the comments here and giving it much thought, I've decided hang on to the original blade. Another nice thing about hanging on to it, I think, is that since the fine folks at CRK fitted both blades to my knife, I can send a blade in for sharpening, polishing, tumbling, etc., without giving up my knife for two weeks. That the hardest thing since this is my 95%-of-the-time edc. :D

Here's what it looks like with the new blade. I am very pleased with how it turned out.
