Marking question

A five to six years ago, I bought this Boker knife. I stored it separately from other knives and forgot where I put it. Recently during general cleaning I finaly found it.
Now, on to my question.
On liner there is four digit number and I can't remember what it means - possibly serial number ?. Online I couldn't find anything about this knife so I would be thankful for any help.

I would bet it is a serial #. Common Boker location for serial #.

You are correct, this is a serial number!!!
Maybe you will find some other treasures while cleaning up....

I believe this is a Walker Design similar to the Annual Damascus for 2000. The wood scales, I believe are cocobolo.
