I was going through a section of a distributors catalog when I noticed something. On the blade of some of the knives, there apperas to be the numbers 015V. Anyone know what these numbers mean?

This appears on the Lum chinese folder as well as the Peter Herbst models.

Those are Spyderco Collectors club serial numbers, 015 is a very low number. The "V" is for variation, if a particular model was designed with a plain blade, then the seratted version would be the variation.

The distributor may well have used the numbered models for his photos, but obviously the supplied models may have different serial numbers (or none).

Glad I did a search b4 asking. Lum with 094V on the blade.
