Markings under poll/Lakeside head

Not sure this warrants a separate thread but after reprofiling and poll cleanup on a Lakeside 3.5lb head last night I noticed these markings:

Makers marks? Previous owner? Looks to be an "X" and two concentric circles, one inside the other- or the other way round. Also, a design like a branch? Looks deliberate but possibly done after the other markings.

Been working on it here and there for a week. Just now saw it after a little scrubbing.

Looks to be a stylized rendition of a tent (tipi), ground cover reeds/grasses, a setting or rising sun and a daytime moon overhead. Presumably this is stamped at the front and not the back of the head. Somebody was experimenting with a set of metal punches!

Right on 300six! I would not have pieced that together as a scene.

It's poll end, under the head (narrow portion of the eye).
