I've EDCd the Marksman since they hit the market in my RF pocket with a bunch of companions shown here. The beaner swings from the nearest belt loop and mostly carries my cap. It is holding up to rough living.

Take two. Keeping the knife in one focal plane this time. Notice that nobody walks by and comments this time :)>

Gotta get a tripod or setup to avoid hand held movement one of these days...

Turntable is solar and or AA about $7 delivered. The original intent was to place one or more into the display cases with marquee knives moving to draw your attention. Since the thing works on solar there is no wiring issue. However, unless you put a battery into it or turn on the case's light motion stops at nightfall.

That sure sounded like Cindy at the end of the first video.

What was it that she was say?? Sounded like "You are nuts!!" :)

You are always very entertaining!!:thumbup::thumbup:

Right on the money Stumps. Cindy snuck up behind me and said "that's fantastic" while I was filming with a big grin and just after I said "quiet" we both started laughing and I cut. She encouraged me to try the rotating display so how could I not give it a go.

"Nuts" of course. You and I have that in common. Aren't you the fella who bot two rifles in order to have two folding knives (pot calling the kettle black)?

That's a sharp looking knife. I'm going to see if Bass Pro has one for me to fondle, if I like it, I'll place an order on one today.

I hope Buck comes out with a 3inch version as well. IMO this knife should be a huge hit, Buck should step up their marketing on this knife.

The Marksman has been a terrific EDC for me. I consider it an enthusiast's user. I've used flippers for quite some time plus I understand the pick lock. One hand opening and closing, for me it is easy to flip open with my index finger on the flipper nub and let swing close by lifting the pick lock bar with my thumb and letting it go just as the blade enters the handle, super steel blade in a utility shape, anatomical handle that is robust and light weight, tight keeper pocket clip keeps the knife with me and adjustable six ways from Sunday so get some tiny tools to keep its action in your sweet spot.

It is not an assisted opener, not for weak hands and not a child's knife. However, you can open it with the thumb hole and close it using two hands by lifting up the pick lock bar sufficiently for the locking nub to clear it and rotate. A child might be able to grow into this folder given sufficient enthusiasm, patience and hand coordination/strength for clever tools.

I absolutely love my Marksman! I have heard a lot if mixed thoughts on it but I can tell you, I carry mine in my right front jeans pocket about 6 days a week, I have never had to adjust a thing in her! Perfectly centered blade! Super smooth action! I often just play with it while I'm driving. If I had 4 thumbs I would give the 830 Marksman 5 Thumbs Up!!!!!
