I have 3, .22 mag rifles but this is my fave, it has enough weight at 6 pounds, to just hang with the sights right on target,(I like open sights) carries 12 rounds of potent hollow point 40 grain in it's tube mag and does an excellent job in the accuracy department. I like it's laminated stock, combined with the stainless steel.
Not a bad rifle for the money, IMO. (it was around 260 when I bought it a couple years back)

I've killed a few coyotes with it, but you have to be very precise to drop one, as they're tough. It does Okay on them if you do your part.

I like the looks of the stainless/laminate.. I bought a new Marlin 22 mag about 5 years ago. Tube fed (I hate messing with 22 magazines), bolt action. It wasn't much to look at, Matte blue with black synthetic sock, but it was a great shooter..
I just have a hard time justifying the price of 22 mag ammo.
But then again, most ammo is rediculously priced now. When you can find it
Good thing I started stock piling it a while back
