Marlin spikes have any?

Oh heck yeah . . . but a basic one that has a lock mechanism that is highly questionable.

I would love to have one of the Ti Spyderco dudes (I forget what they are called) but I'm not a boat person and only use mine to undo dried knots occasionally . . . oh and to align the holes in parts so hard to put $200 into one (Knice Knife though).

This one shown is pretty nice to, inexpensive . . . they don't know how to tune the lock at the factory though.

Here's mine. I think it's the same one Wowbagger posted. This is a Rough Rider Mariner's Knife, cheap but surprisingly well made. I wanted an example of a mariner's spike for my collection and this was affordable. Someday I'd like to buy a real one.

It's really an awesome utility concept for a knife. Makes me wish I sailed :)

No picture, but I have one on my Boye folder. Fantastic, love the thing! Makes a great spare tool! Well built, takes lots of punishment.

I also have a David Boye folder...actually, a couple of 'em. The Marlin spike on them are a work of genius, IMO. Sorry, I've never been able to post pics.

This thread inspired me to dig out mine from one of the knife drawers.
Schrade Walden stainless Model 735 from the 70's. I have long forgotten where I got it from. The former owner some how managed to bend the point on the marlin spike. It is still useable and solid. Red plastic handles.
I got to figure how to post pictures when I get time.
