Martha Stewart knives?

This is Chinese forged cutlery. Most if not all major cutlery manufacturers are having at least some part of their line being produced in China. My guess is the quality of most of these is similar. I recently purchased some Chicago Cutlery and Sabatier Chinese forged knives. I like them and quality is fine. They do require frequent touch ups to stay sharp. Another inexpensive alternative to Chinese forged is the Henckels Classic line which is manufactured in Spain. Probably the least expensive quality european cutlery is the Forschner line of knives. These are not forged and are fairly lightweight but they cut like the dickens.

It doesn't say anything about the steel or handle material, or much at all about them really. They appear to be full-tang, but you can't tell for sure from this picture. But still, a 7 piece set for 60 bucks? Something sounds a little wrong here...

I understand that a book of stock tips comes with the set!!!

Don't know about that, but you'll get a phone call the day before the price drops.

Hey Guys....

LMAO....

I buy the small paring knives and make neck rigs for them, and give them away as gifts....

For the price I think they are a cool little inexpensive knife, and so far No one has complained when I've given them one....

I also buy some different types of kitchen knives to sheath..One that I really like and carry quite often is as all metal(handle and all) kitchen knife.....Made by Wiltshire

I carry it sometimes out to dinner or wedding and such,,were usually they have $hit for cutlery....
Nothing like the feeling of taking your own cutlery out to dinner..:)

Somebody above mentioned the Henckels International series. I would strongly recommend you look into these Spanish forged knives before looking at any forged knife from China. I've tested both the Sabatier and the Chicago Cutlery mentioned above and I have to say they "are not a good thing." Poor balance and overly soft steel for my taste. The Henckels International, on the other hand, work quite well. Martha, by the way continues, to use Wusthof knives on her TV programs, not her own brand of knives. I'm not sure what that says. Take care.

I have used on the of Chef's knives, very nice geometry (thin and acute), low NIB sharpness (as are most cheap knives), very light blade only ~60g. Decent handle shape and overall ergonomics. Steel it durable, no significant chipping, can handle light bone contacts easily enough, have not used it on thick beef bones (cleaver for that), but handles poultry well enough. I just updated the review after recently thinning the edge dramatically.

It'd be nice if she had "Brutal Betty" for a cellmate.

The only thing that I'd by that had anything to do with Martha Stewart would be toilet paper with her picture on it.

That about covers everything I had to say.
