Here is one of my aluminum trainers

and here is my Gossman live blade version.

AWESOME!!

This blade held up well to throwing this past weekend and running through templates against hardwood. Very practical and down and dirty blade. KISS principle at its best. Micarta spacers by Greg Haugh and handle wrap by your's truly.

I like the looks of the cord over the micarta. Gotta give you a pretty secure grip with that combo.

Yes, it has 1/8" micarta scales under the wrap.
