I will be teaching all four levels of my Martial Blade Concepts (formerly Martial Blade Craft) curriculum for Gabe Suarez and Suarez International at the Angeles Range in Los Angeles, 6-9 November. This is a rare opportunity to learn my entire edged-weapon program during a single training event and will be the last MBC training event of 2004.
Levels 1 and 2 of the program present comprehensive instruction in standard-grip knife tactics. They also provide a linear progression of training drills and defensive applications that develop usable skills in a very short period of time.
Level 3 is a complete course in reverse-grip knife tactics and the use of the knife (and improvised weapons) in extreme close-quarters situations.
Level 4 focuses on empty-hand-to-weapon transitions, threat-management techniques, and high-speed knife deployment. It also combines all the drills and skills introduced in the previous levels into a comprehensive training methodology.
Each level consists of an 8-hour block of hands-on instruction. Level 1 also includes a Masters of Defense training knife and a protective arm guard (together a $170.00 value).
