Any opinions on the Martindale "Cleaver" Bolo machete? From what I can tell, it seems to be the same as the old WWII model 227 machete but I can't say for certain. I'm thinking of picking one up (along with a 14" Condor El Salvador) as my next purchase and was curious about how people liked it and if anyone knew what kind of steel it's made of. The only info I could find is that it's made of high carbon "British Steel". I heard it's a tad thicker than the standard machete which is a plus since I prefer slightly thicker and stiffer bladed machetes. Also does anyone know if it would fit in a leather Condor Bolo machete sheath?
