After having done numerous kydex liners for use inside leather, I decided to make some sheaths out of mainly kydex.

This one is for the RC-4, made by Rat Cutlery.
The sheath is made pancake style in order have eyelets on both sides of the blade to provide in many attachement points.

I prefer to have the drainage hole at the bottom of the sheath, but this one is closed, so I drilled a hole through and through.

It fits both molle and tek loks. The teklok can be used in horizontal, vertical and canted position.

The front plate takes a malice clip to attach a pouch to.

If high carry is unpractical, a beltloop can be mounted. The kydex backplate also takes a teklok. The leather loop has a very comfortabel compromise between flexibility and rigidity..

Same design, but for the RC-3

This one is foldover style.
It has less attachement points, but is a lot less bulky too. It fit's the Maxpedition "Single Pouch" or the Eagle pouch as sold by Blade Tech. It's meant to be a very versatile sheath. It's all modular, and will fit a teklok too.

The sheaths are made of 0.08" or 0.093" kydex. The backplates are made out of double folded 0.08" or single 0.125" kydex..

I hope you like them.
Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

:thumbup:Very nice Martin!

I hope you'll still make kydex lined leather too.

Thanks John.
I sure will stick to my kydex-leather recipe. Those are far more comfortable then kydex only. But kydex only makes great functional sheaths too, so I had to try.. :)

Great looking sheaths! Would you mind sharing your source for your mounting screws that you use? I've been using chicago screws that I had on hand with taper head screws I picked up at Lowe's and then had to cut down in order to reduce cost.
