Many of you who have been on this forum awhile likely remember Goose from his unique sense of humor. Goose had throat cancer and lost his battle earlier today. I never got to meet Goose in person, but developed a deep friendship with him through our mutual fondness for knives. He will be sorely missed. Rest in peace Goose!

It's never good to hear of a good knife man's passing.

RIP Goose.

A special Blessing to Goose and his family. He made the forum a better place. Rest in Peace, Goose and ride free.

Saddened to hear about Goose. Such a great character here on the forum. RIP Goose. Fly high.

Goose helped me a lot to find a way into this forum. I am very sad about his passing. My thoughts are with him and his family.
Rest in peace, Marvin!

Thank you Mike for this update. Brother Goose, you will be sorely missed. Thank you for all you gave to us here. You had such a great sense of humor that lighten up our days. Rest in Peace my friend. DM

Mike, Wasn't Goose's forum name Buckaholic. I know he liked big knives. His avatar was himself being a big bike man riding a mini-scooter. He will but has already been missed from the past. Just as everyone who is decent and entertaining who quits posting.
Hate to hear of his suffering......as my GM said "Bless his heart". 300Bucks

Aloha 'Goose....Buckaholic was his forum name. He was always a straight shooter with me, and we did numerous knife deals. Ride hard Brother.

He posted here on the forum before my time, but I did enjoy his posts I would see when I was searching older posts for information.
My condolences to his family.

I also remember his posts and found a lot of humor in them. As was stated his avatar was humor also. Rest in Peace, Goose

I am sad that he passed. I did not know he had cancer but know two others here that had same type
Both had a hard time near the end. I hope Marv had it easier.
He was a old timer when I got here and helped me a lot as a newbe.
I had wandered were he was now I know and I will miss him.
Ride the high highways Goose. See ya when we gets there.

Oh my,,, So sorry to hear about the Gooser.
Was great fun when he was able to be on the forum.
He sure livened up the place.

Sad to see a good one go.

RIP Marv.

Thanks for letting us know Mike.

I am sure Goose would be happy for all the best wishes. He was surrounded by many family members who loved him dearly. At the end that is all any of us can ask for. In that regard Goose was a lucky man.

Hate to hear about this,Goose was very entertaining,I still have a sheath he gifted me.
We had several great e-mail conversations and a few knife swaps.
Bless his family and friends.
