I had the pleasure of getting together with jackknife/Carl earlier this month, to sit down to a couple brews and some shrimp salad subs, in Maryland. We had a pretty good time trading tales, jokes and insights, and looking at knives (and getting some great gifts, thank you again sir!). I can vouch for the food at this spot, it is good. The trays of steaming crabs gliding past throughout our lunch made me want to float out behind them like a cartoon character. Nothing beats heavy full crabs and beer, except for maybe a little knife talk included. Carl proposed that we could have a MD knife nut crab feast at this place. He was hoping for some time this summer. I would like to see who would be up for this. Crabs, beer or your beverage of choice, some good knife talk. We are still working on a date, but we need to know if anyone would be up for this. I missed out on the first get together a couple years ago, on Halloween weekend in Frederick. This restaurant also has other options on the menu, but, if you're from MD, I'm betting you like crabs.
The restaurant is Salernos in Eldersburg. Best shrimp salad sub I've ever had. I think I need to get a scooter, you tend to find a lot of good restaurants on them apparently
