That's an interesting idea but I'm not sure how it is doable. So far as I know no one knows how many blades he made. No one knows how many blades have his signature on them that he did not make, and finally no one knows how many blades he made that do not have is signature on them.
His katana was famous for not having a sigunature on the tang.
In 13th century,masamune's age, katana was so long in length and they were cut to around 70cm from tang for carrying in plain clothes in posterity. But there are some katanas without his signature but considered real because they were owned by famous samuai desedants from generation to generation. So it is true that there were many dubious katanas with faked history.
