I just wanted to let everyone know about this man and his knives. I became friends with him at my first knife show in 1999, and became closer friends this last weekend at the show. His english is not that good but his knives are as close to perfect as it gets. At this time I own 5 and the fit and finnish is perfect on all 5. Three are gifts from him and two I bought this weekend. If you are looking for a really classy hunter or utility knife from an elite gentleman who has been making knives for twenty years,I would highly reccomend getting one of his knives. At the very least check his knives out at one of the shows he attends. I know he will be in Vegas, New York,Baltimore and The Central Texas Knife Show next year.

I couldn't agree more in your assessment of Mr. Takahashi's knives. His hunter's are very elegant, but the knife I was blown away by was the big fighter he had in Austin this last weekend. Beautiful lines and great fit and finish. An absolutely stunning knife.
