I carry a BM Griptilian, with a deep carry clip, everyday. I usually have some ridiculous sized folder in my pocket on the weekend, but I'm in the office 5-6 days a week. I want to get a nice gentleman's folder for EDC in the office setting. A BM Griptilian is "slightly" oversized for needs in my office :p

I found the Masserin 392 Carbon Fiber knife appealing, as well as the Enzo PK70 and Birk 75.

I would prefer carbon fiber over G10 or bare metal.
Deep carry clip is not a must have, but if I can't have one, I would rather no clip at all.

Spyderco makes both a Sage and a Chapparal (sp?) in carbon fiber, both great knives, well suited for "gentleman's carry", choose your preferred size and preferred locking style. Very different blade shape than the modified wharncliffe of that Maserin.

I can't speak to the Maserin as I didn't even know it existed before seeing it here. They're a brand you don't hear much about. It looks like a nice knife though, I like the overall profile. I could see that as being a dressier and nonthreatening knife. I did have an Enzo Birk though. The new model with the low ride clip. Mine was CF with Scandi ground D2. The quality of the knife was very good and I had no issues with it at all. I ended up selling it because it was just an awkward size for me. It was also kind of on the thick side and heavier than you would think a knife of its size would be. Might be worth considering if you plan on wearing it with slacks. I will also say the CF scales on the Birk were some of the best looking I have ever owned.

Here's a pic of my Birk, just because:

I may have to get both! lol
I was planning on buying a ZT 0550, but may have to put it on hold and buy these two.

I'm confident that the Enzo is good quality, but I haven't heard much of Masserin.

I came across the Maserin 392/Starlight recently while looking for another addition to my small collection. I passed because I already have two CF folders (Sage 1 and Birk 75) in the same size range, but might pick up a wood-handled 392 if one ever becomes available from U.S. dealers.

In case you missed this video, here’s a guy showing off his 392 and opening it with a thumb flick:
