dont know how i missed this until now. really great knife and design. pretty decent fit and finish. bevels pretty even and not too obtuse for a sharpmaker. so no reprofiling needed out of the box, which is nice. no blade play in any direction. no slop in frame lock. locks at the insert width depth.... and no push inward has any effect. solid lockup. no rock no slop out of the box. came with a belt sheath too but didnt take a pic of it.

enjoy the thrust bearings....phrase on this. anyways really great knife at a competitive price point. id compare it to zt or spyderco frame locks in fit and finish and quality feel.

I like mine so much I had a custom scale made for it. Wanted to stay with the "police" theme. Although there is no disputing the quality of his work, I'd GBU the scale maker before ordering though. ;)

very nice Sir.

funny...your pics of the knife just like mine make the blade look small compared to the handle. in reality the blade is a much better looking match to the scales in real life. yours is a very good looking knife. what's the scale made of? thanks.

I think it's just the angle. It's large cell ctek. From my understanding, it would not be a great choice for harder use. It's not as robust as CF or G10. Found one other pic.

Thanks for the review. I have often seen this knife and wondered about it. It is one of those not well known gems out there it sounds like.

I have seen other European “police and special forces” knives that seem to not be well known but look amazing.

Lionsteel PM series are all swiss police knives.

Lionsteel used to make some sweet framelocks for Pohl Force but I believe Pohl force lockbacks are no longer being produced. Too bad I never got a chance to try one.

I have a Maserin 392/CN which is a good solid knife it does have some drawbacks but they are a quality manufacturer. I like the look and general feel of the Police model but I do find the weight to be a bit much to enjoy carrying. I have a model or two of theirs on my wishlist at this time but not sure where they fall in my wish list priorities.
