Hello guys!
Today, I would like to show you one of my favorites gentleman's folders, which I also use as the EDC knife.
Wonderful Maserin ATTI 388 Black Burl.
The knife was made by Maserin company based in Italian city Maniago known from the manufacturing of knives and it was designed by Morotti Attilio. Maserin history has begun in 1960 and the Atti folding knife is one of their many great knives. It is the stylish gentleman's folder designed for everyday carry.
Maserin Atti is available with various kinds of exotic handle materials, custom finished with nickel silver bolsters (Atti 388) or without it (Atti 389). I decided to choose the 388 Black Burl wood version, which in reality looks like a dark navy blue with gorgeous pattern. Maserin Atti has a 3 mm thick flat ground drop point blade and is 7 cm long made of wear-resistant CPM S35VN stainless steel, hardened to 60 Hrc. This precious gentleman's knife has a liner lock mechanism. The blade opens up smoothly and blocks easily. There is no blade play whatsoever. You can open it very fast with the help of the thumb stud, but you can also open it with the help of the protruding thumb ramp at the beginning part of the blade spine.
The blade spine is rounded and the knife feels solid and comfortable in your hand. After opened fully the knife has 16 cm of the total length and weights 96 grams. It has polished back spacer and decorated stainless steel liners which look very beautiful. The blade and the bolsters have satin finish. Black soft leather pouch was also attached with the knife.
Maserin ATTI 388/RN Black Burl specifications:
☞ Overall length: 16 cm
☞ Handle length: 9 cm
☞ Handle Material: Black Burl wood
☞ Blade length: 7 cm
☞ Blade thickness: 3 mm
☞ Steel Blade: CPM S35VN

In summary, I can definitely say that Maserin ATTI is a very beautiful and useful pocket knife. The S35VN steel has an extremely high edge retention and a working sharpness. It is the stylish knife for an EDC use which fits also with a gentleman's suit.
